T'AI CHI CHUAN, YANG STYLE (10
Movement Yang Style Form)
Patty offers two levels of
Tai Chi training at this time:
Beginner Level: This class consists of 30 minutes
of warm ups including QiGong and drills, and is followed by 30 minutes of
form work on the 10 Movement Yang Style form (a very basic beginners
form). This class progresses through the 10 movement form forwards
and reverse (or mirror image) and through the 16 movement form (advanced
beginners form), forwards and reverse. (Participants of this class can move
on to the Advanced Class when they have demonstrated proficiency of the
afore mentioned forms, forwards and reverse.) The beginners class is
open to all adults over 18 and for all fitness levels. It is also
very gentle on the body and helps to create greater balance, flexibility
and stamina as well as reduce stress and increase relaxation. The
term "Meditation in Motion" has been applied to Tai Chi by many.
Advanced Level: This
class consists of 30 minutes of warm ups including QiGong and drills, and
is followed by 30 minutes of form work on the 24 Movement Yang Style form
(forwards and reverse) - this is the core form of all Yang Style Tai
Chi Chuan. Participants of this class are required to have learned
and demonstrate proficiency in the 10 and 16 Movement Yang Style forms both
forwards and reverse, or demonstrate proficiency in Yang Style Tai Chi to
the teacher's satisfaction. This class will also go on to learn the
45 movement form and possible weapons forms which may or may not include
Fan and Sword forms.

length and include warms-ups with some yoga and chi gong.

REIKI
Patty offers a variety of Reiki services:
Reiki Level I Class: Sept 4th and 5th (Saturday and Sunday), 2010 1:30 - 4:00 $175
Reiki Level II Class: Oct. 2nd and 3rd (Saturday and Sunday), 2010 1:30 - 4:00 $175
Reiki Level III Class: Oct. 9th and 10th (Saturday and Sunday), 2010 1:30 - 4:00 $175
Classes include attunement, certificate of completion, manual, and practice time where you learn to give a full Reiki session and get one, at each level, and are regularly scheduled in my home office space, at 510 Engelhart Dr., in Madison. (Directions/map) At this time, I am holding classes in a different way and it actually seems to be more to people's liking than the old 8 hours (or more) in one day class. We meet for several 3 hour classes several days in a row or stretched out over several weeks, depending on the individual's needs. I also prefer doing individual classes at this time. The student gets much more individual attention and all benefit. Levels I, II and III are $175 each. A $25 deposit is required at sign up for the class.
Preparation for a Reiki class: it is advised that you consume no alcohol or caffeinated beverages or food containing caffeine for two or three days prior to the class, and follow a healthy diet consisting of lots of fresh organic fruits and vegetables. It is also advisable to drink lots of extra water for several days before and several days after the class. Water conducts energy. A fully hydrated individual is optimal.
Prior students may review or audit a reiki class for levels I, II & III (Master Practitioner) for $25. Review/audit does not include an attunement, manual or certificate. The student may sit in and go over the materials with the rest of the class and will be included in practice time and and also receive reiki. The fee to review Reiki Master Teacher classes is $75.00.
The fee for the Reiki Master Teacher course is $300 (four or more 3 hour classes). I am now offering a mentorship or apprentice program for new Reiki Master Teachers. Some of the things you would be expected to do: Attend all levels of classes I conduct, assist during classes and co-teach all levels of classes. Information on how and where to advertise, how to set up your business (website, brochures, business cards) and how to find clients, etc., also included. The program is a 6 month to 1 year commitment and the cost is to be determined between myself and individual depending on the time commitment. REIki Sessions - I am available for sessions in the afternoons every day of the week starting at 1:30 (including weekends). DISTANT REIKI HEALING - I host a Distant Reiki Network for my students, their friends, families and pets. As a student of mine, you are eligible to join this group after taking the Reiki Level II class. When someone has a request for healing, they pass it along to me and I send it out to the Distant Healing Group. This is a common practice among Reiki teachers.

Reiki Shares - Are conducted at my home office in Madison. Reiki shares are held for the benefit of the teacher's Reiki students and other practitioners who are personally invited. A Reiki share is a get-together where Reiki practitioners can practice their skills, share their experiences, receive Reiki from 2, 3, 4 or more practitioners at a time (Reiki energy increases exponentially when it is received from multiple practitioners, (the energy is exponentially increased by the number of people giving it to you), and have any questions or concerns addressed by their teacher. Shares are also a great way to meet other practitioners, get to know one another, and form a good support network. The teacher may have new techniques, books, or information to pass along at this time also. If you are my student and are interested in attending these monthly get-togethers, please contact me. If you are Reiki and not my student you may ask to attend and I will consider your request.

Patty will be demonstrating the newer full session techniques, putting symbols into the body before a session, setting sacred space using symbols, and you can get a sneak peek at the new Reiki I and Reiki II manuals! Introduction/Demonstration - This event is an informal talk
about what Reiki is: the history of Reiki, its many health benefits, how it
feels to get a Reiki session, how to become Reiki, and much
more. There is a question and answer segment at the end of the
discussion. The first three people to walk in the door receive 10-15
minutes of FREE Reiki (chair session) at the end of the Introduction.

Angel Channeling Party: Reiki Master Teacher, Pam Vargo will be doing Angel Channeling at Patty Penner's home office space, at 510 Engelhart Dr., in Madison. (Directions/map) on Sept. 25, 2010 from 1:30-4:30 pm. Sessions run 15 minutes each for $15. You will need to make an appointment (through Patty, at 608-467-7033) for a session. We are booking up fast, so don't delay in making your appointment if you are interested in coming.
The party: Pam will give a brief overview of Angel Channeling, then the first session begins at 1:45 pm. She will be doing 3 sessions in a row, taking a short break, then taking 3 more appointments, and so on. The Party ends at 4:30 or when we are finished with all appointments. Refreshments will be served and you are encouraged to bring your card decks, crystals, oils, whatever you want to "play" with or talk about while we "hang out" upstairs and Pam does the readings in the lower level office.
